OH MY GOODNESS!! If you haven't come across it before and you have a plentiful supply of embossing folders, I suspect you will be like me too.🤣</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">So here are the creations I made then I'll give you a brief rundown on how to do it: (I may have got a little carried away......)</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">First up: <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/fern-3d-embossing-folder?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Fern 3D embossing folder</a> and one of the embossing folders from <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/stripes-splatters-3d-embossing-folders?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Stripes & Splatters 3D embossing folders</a>.<br /></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6GZADit3ceh_EjUd_gmyagTXhMZu_YkIVybXCwM5lR0ToplfN7ZCXbTnZ6Aub0dZ1UOQijmnR8Bq7adeyD7JxToI2_-DcbbzCD104Wn4YJ3LSX07NfsxVy0BGm_cHWTUTzsGiXs-ksSf9OSuZQBH0nsnGCFifQ5_h9ftLeCGHsGz5bB2rKPh1DbDy/s4032/final(111).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Stampin' Up!, Cardmaking Technique, Blackout Embossing" border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6GZADit3ceh_EjUd_gmyagTXhMZu_YkIVybXCwM5lR0ToplfN7ZCXbTnZ6Aub0dZ1UOQijmnR8Bq7adeyD7JxToI2_-DcbbzCD104Wn4YJ3LSX07NfsxVy0BGm_cHWTUTzsGiXs-ksSf9OSuZQBH0nsnGCFifQ5_h9ftLeCGHsGz5bB2rKPh1DbDy/w480-h640/final(111).JPG" title="Stampin' Up!, Cardmaking Technique, Blackout Embossing" width="480" /></a></span></div><span style="font-size: medium;">Then the other embossing folder from <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/stripes-splatters-3d-embossing-folders?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Stripes & Splatters</a> is the Pretty Peacock one, and the purple one is one of the<a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/basics-3d-embossing-folders?dbwsdemoid=4001738"> Basics 3D</a> embossing Folders<br /></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9JZZmLuLXVTCHhPCxyjU1crDdF4tUgw3CTxl8XUyR6o6TecJjD_Cfk8J3O0mer-1vzMj9X8LCr6a1lAxt6mH8RG3Wlo4nJX0U1JnBBtJi7wQZKO4NlyZYpWYavPriK-Ys0Q1q6zBIdQVx9tNBmiUUeybgmgB3Ggs_nAydvcjJv3jqHwNcfwhFb1Ez/s4032/final(110).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Stampin' Up!, Cardmaking Technique, Blackout Embossing" border="0" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="4032" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9JZZmLuLXVTCHhPCxyjU1crDdF4tUgw3CTxl8XUyR6o6TecJjD_Cfk8J3O0mer-1vzMj9X8LCr6a1lAxt6mH8RG3Wlo4nJX0U1JnBBtJi7wQZKO4NlyZYpWYavPriK-Ys0Q1q6zBIdQVx9tNBmiUUeybgmgB3Ggs_nAydvcjJv3jqHwNcfwhFb1Ez/w640-h480/final(110).JPG" title="Stampin' Up!, Cardmaking Technique, Blackout Embossing" width="640" /></a></span></div><span style="font-size: medium;">Then lastly the 2 embossing folders from <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/fun-patterns-embossing-folders?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Fun Patterns embossing folders</a> (these aren't 3D folders, but they still work 😍)<br /></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4sY5P17OR3YKTB21K7Lep2S_mC3njBwOM98ty0GL-lyPVwcBFeqURs4mIJujwGt7qbB_SyUnLA-9aN7Qylf7mJTDgH6SakATlH0FYtdKWIFokeksf4-aLRColNhGxfXMjZSve37R11e_JO7nqjzqDtplQU7qUBzk4HYEXsnPzLLBDjJXuX_w8jEIz/s4032/final(109).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Stampin' Up!, Cardmaking Technique, Blackout Embossing" border="0" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="4032" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4sY5P17OR3YKTB21K7Lep2S_mC3njBwOM98ty0GL-lyPVwcBFeqURs4mIJujwGt7qbB_SyUnLA-9aN7Qylf7mJTDgH6SakATlH0FYtdKWIFokeksf4-aLRColNhGxfXMjZSve37R11e_JO7nqjzqDtplQU7qUBzk4HYEXsnPzLLBDjJXuX_w8jEIz/w640-h480/final(109).JPG" title="Stampin' Up!, Cardmaking Technique, Blackout Embossing" width="640" /></a></span></div><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Don't they look great?</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">So, here is the way to do it..... For these ones I started off with a piece of white cardstock, embossed it, then using brushes, brushed random colours (light & bright) all over the DEBOSSED side, lastly swipe over the whole thing with a darker colour, and the debossed bits should remain the light bright colours, with the flat raised sections in the dark colour.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">If you missed the video here it is:</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/x3iOtcq1wIs" width="320" youtube-src-id="x3iOtcq1wIs"></iframe></span></div><p><span style="font-size: medium;">I hope this excites you as much as it did me, and you are inspired to create</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">God Bless,</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">love <br />Heather xox</span><br /></p>BeingCreateAble with Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03126205692753470041noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8124755765864900813.post-52823929029838828792024-03-16T11:30:00.007+12:002024-03-16T11:30:00.148+12:00Something Saturday - A Little Latte<p> Hi there Creators, </p><p>Well today I thought I'd play with one of my lastest goodies, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/a-little-latte-12-x-12-30-5-x-30-5-cm-designer-series-paper?dbwsdemoid=4001738">A Little Latte Designer Series Paper</a>, although I'm starting to think that maybe I should have ordered the Stamp set & Dies too:<a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/latte-love-bundle-english?dbwsdemoid=4001738"> Latte Love Bundle</a>. They are all "Online Exclusive goodies", which really only means they're not in a catalogue - but you can see them online (and you can click the links above to view them)<br /></p><p>Anyway here is the card I made up in the video:</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlwPOkDECH1E13F_YHoRgMD8CPGTy3CJJ-5CP-gm_jhiQdH94Zp608XMWwonfM82fEwIUHI7fSviXV6Q7Ewhpx18eoxbDZsQKD_otPp3vBGHmKbYkxCfG2t2Ci1pAjyu9Dxc7QI9Yazhh6-hss9_v22Jd_ybxRNUC4KWJXEqMbWxxUnEQHJZrAalDm/s4032/final(101).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Stampin' Up! So annoying when you search and search, then they turn up where you've already checked 1/2 a dozen times!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">However I eventually decided I'd just do the video anyway, as they say in Happy Gilmore, "just play it as it lies"🤣</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">And here's the first card I created, this one uses the bit you'd usually throw away, as a mask, and I love how it turned out! I've used daubers to add the colour, as I thought brushes might not work so well, I've also used the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/filled-with-happiness-photopolymer-stamp-set-english?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Filled with Happiness Stamp set </a>(I did use this recently in one of my Something Saturdays)<br /></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; Also if you join Stampin' Up! there's a rather good deal going on too, check out this link:<a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/community/join-stampin-up?dbwsdemoid=4001738"> Join my team.</a> Time is running out!<br /></p><p>When I was at church the other day, I asked what cards they needed (as I usually try and keep them supplied with cards) and they said baby cards....yikes! I really don't make many as most of my friends are my age, and have teenage/young adult kids not quite up to the marrying and reproducing stage yet🤣 So I thought I'd better get to work! Thank goodness Sale-a-Bration has a dedicated Baby stamp set for me to use! <br /></p><p>Here's the card I made up before the video: I have to say the detail is so lovely in the stamped image.<br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiRf-k0tKm_Pgzi8AWf72lRJTSFuE4tac8XZoyKnlxAZn3d5kETSiTbkBKN_Ppb68L_WmThZeigUx-cPi4kR3fGrcIs95k5FGdQ9YdRPmMIcIc9h1hwr-OeBNhzmbI2byZwEM9_DZwniWszb06KE4EteI6xEnONE2WhfkMod2qoOHQxRO7jruITziX/s4032/final(82).JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Stampin' Up!, Cradled with Love, Sale-a-Bration" border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiRf-k0tKm_Pgzi8AWf72lRJTSFuE4tac8XZoyKnlxAZn3d5kETSiTbkBKN_Ppb68L_WmThZeigUx-cPi4kR3fGrcIs95k5FGdQ9YdRPmMIcIc9h1hwr-OeBNhzmbI2byZwEM9_DZwniWszb06KE4EteI6xEnONE2WhfkMod2qoOHQxRO7jruITziX/w480-h640/final(82).JPG" title="Stampin' Up!, Cradled with Love, Sale-a-Bration" width="480" /></a></div> I did discover a couple of things that made me realise some stamps have
to be used the right way round LOL, such as the bottle, turns out it
has "liquid" in it on an angle, huh who knew?, and I think the mat is
meant to go all the way under all 4 legs of the bassinet! The saying is cut using the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/modern-oval-punch?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Modern Oval punch,</a> then cut down again with the same punch, and I've added bling (of course) the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/iridescent-pastel-gems?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Iridescent Pastel Gems</a> matched in really well with both cards.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; I like the way the "happy" pops with the Soft Sea foam behind it.<br /></span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhS4cz3VVaIGnLvfE1rwVuAUOWu_8b57fU9-vZVc4yby5Np12IfGQjIT_iDzPqSDZSlgw9ZT1f7YO9qmdS4OfCZ86_6Yr96nhp-M1GXWmI1SgedAqvxCr3HqyBfI5N7GTI_9xWry0H8uiJ8JUUa5ezdkJ6Izh5Q1leNqJ5XdyEdtZb6YrivoKMQhvPK/s4032/final(76).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Stampin' Up!, Rock & Roll DSP, Alphabet A La Mode Dies" border="0" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="4032" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhS4cz3VVaIGnLvfE1rwVuAUOWu_8b57fU9-vZVc4yby5Np12IfGQjIT_iDzPqSDZSlgw9ZT1f7YO9qmdS4OfCZ86_6Yr96nhp-M1GXWmI1SgedAqvxCr3HqyBfI5N7GTI_9xWry0H8uiJ8JUUa5ezdkJ6Izh5Q1leNqJ5XdyEdtZb6YrivoKMQhvPK/w640-h480/final(76).JPG" title="Stampin' Up!, Rock & Roll DSP, Alphabet A La Mode Dies" width="640" /></a></span></div><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Then as I had my Happy already cut out I thought rather than adding to my rather large collection of scraps, I'd best do something with it! It wasn't going to show up well enough on the dark coloured DSP, so I figured a bit of vellum underneath works wonders 😃, and as it's kind of hard to stamp onto vellum, I thought it would be better to have the Birthday white heat embossed onto it. By the way Birthday comes from the matching Stamp set<a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/rock-star-bundle-english?dbwsdemoid=4001738"> "Rock Star"</a>, just a case of only inking up the Birthday bit of the stamp, which isn't too hard to do, or wipe off the excess ink before you stamp. How cool are the little boom boxes, record players, and tapes? (oh takes me back to my teenage years and taping songs off the radio......)<br /></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN_CNt98YzJAAluGQgaCyINMml0ahjXVC73anPPLVmpOXUuSVhRbp2Dzw7ev4H-I4c_Wf22y0q_Oa2_zHRTHdvVQcNkkvPav0DIzIuyCp_w11YZyIullDpnTZC-1dto2fcl6yYrAGEaHVQi2UQwietaxSOt2FPuiEOZb62lqrgI_3f1YmsBTwyIvwM/s3438/final(77).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Stampin' Up!, Rock & Roll DSP, Alphabet A La Mode Dies" border="0" data-original-height="2687" data-original-width="3438" height="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN_CNt98YzJAAluGQgaCyINMml0ahjXVC73anPPLVmpOXUuSVhRbp2Dzw7ev4H-I4c_Wf22y0q_Oa2_zHRTHdvVQcNkkvPav0DIzIuyCp_w11YZyIullDpnTZC-1dto2fcl6yYrAGEaHVQi2UQwietaxSOt2FPuiEOZb62lqrgI_3f1YmsBTwyIvwM/w640-h500/final(77).JPG" title="Stampin' Up!, Rock & Roll DSP, Alphabet A La Mode Dies" width="640" /></a></span></div><p></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">If you missed the video here it is:</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/0ZuICKUZLa8" width="320" youtube-src-id="0ZuICKUZLa8"></iframe></span></div><span style="font-size: medium;"> </span><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span><p></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"></span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">I hope this inspires you to create too, dig out your black & white DSP and colour or brayer it in!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">God Bless love</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Heather xox</span><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></p>BeingCreateAble with Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03126205692753470041noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8124755765864900813.post-9520212353009541842024-02-03T11:00:00.026+12:002024-02-03T11:00:00.143+12:00Something Saturday - Let's Go Alphabet<p><span style="font-size: medium;"> Hi There Creators,</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Today we're checking out both of the Alphabet Die sets that Stampin' Up! have on offer at the mo.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"><a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/alphabet-la-mode-dies?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Alphabet A La Mode Dies</a>, and <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/mini-alphabet-dies?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Mini Alphabet Dies,</a> both sets really handy, and if you're a scrapbooker, I'd say they're essential!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Anyway, here are the cards I created this time:</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">The first card, kind of uses the off-cut piece, and I suggested in the video you could do an anagram of someone's name using it, this one is just a FOR U card 😊 with a few other off cuts I happened to have lying around on my desk. <br /></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8IT5QEH0oLSPeNRhHsccjFogGwJOmT3AbaRiKigRgtVhHWCugc1pUNgemls8azMouvDCCrr321IgALdz3Dd1vthONKefZJ74FTx-FvsvUzDONxaglUJ9-Xou96gMccs9aFlWADSvr81K_6p_F6Xu0G_ErJEJsw3FzR97XX5wzu0vymENj9U0JA5wu/s4032/final(80).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Stampin' Up! The deets are: pick $235 of goodies, and only pay $169, then get the glass mat studio for free with it (see here: <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/community/join-stampin-up?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Join my team </a>if you're interested or ask me).</p><p>Anyway moving on to the scrapbooking, I can't say I'm an expert at this, it's definitely not my favourite thing, but, I volunteered to create a scrapbook of our Carol service as a gift for someone. I have these bright ideas sometimes 🤣 Although actually I quite enjoyed making these sheets up in the video and I've had a few more ideas for the pictures with songs connected to the photos.</p><p>The first page is this one: not made in video - and as you can see it's remarkably simple!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPUYP4kd5NYNBetajJRE0pi-YWd1VhdII9gxSObq49BzG27rVsshyMK8BhWgUhZ0vNw9wXP0mgngbJLek7VM_W8kYkNAJYpI_6UFMqTpo3Ss_mS0KvmT1otGVbSWw2spfyLtSn95CduCHBXsi6Q7MmGijPTSVqaMgf_zwdh2Oc__eJYihFes2cdgyX/s3024/final(69).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Stampin' Up!, Beautiful Balloons Scrapbooking" border="0" data-original-height="2845" data-original-width="3024" height="602" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPUYP4kd5NYNBetajJRE0pi-YWd1VhdII9gxSObq49BzG27rVsshyMK8BhWgUhZ0vNw9wXP0mgngbJLek7VM_W8kYkNAJYpI_6UFMqTpo3Ss_mS0KvmT1otGVbSWw2spfyLtSn95CduCHBXsi6Q7MmGijPTSVqaMgf_zwdh2Oc__eJYihFes2cdgyX/w640-h602/final(69).JPG" title="Stampin' Up!, Beautiful Balloons Scrapbooking" width="640" /></a></div><p>Then I made this one up in the video, I decided the streamers from the<a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/beautiful-balloons-bundle-english?dbwsdemoid=4001738"> Beautiful Balloons Bundle </a>would look good in the background, and I'm happy I did do that, then some of the balloons to go with it, it's such a fun page with the little kids section of the service. And by the way during SAB if you order this bundle - as it's $91.75 you
get to pick an extra gift for free from the SAB offering - woo hoo! check out what's available in the SAB offering here: <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/categories/specials/sale-a-bration?dbwsdemoid=4001738">SAB goodies</a><br /></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYukZg47DR2zMGnbISpjhW0sk2DK-V6-JW_RyAUp9U9mDTPdfmczFXyC5hdAihtP2_CUDAOsvrQIK9IisP3XBgbpi8zJsdNiWFnFvqj8d0r_1jG4tq1IV3e3R74EH7kAsUyWAD4iO2w5Yw1cTL5FF_lN_UuJLjAT9Z4Ta7OKC_9FA023TGgeOTMONR/s3282/final(67).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Stampin' Up!, Beautiful Balloons Scrapbooking" border="0" data-original-height="3282" data-original-width="3024" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYukZg47DR2zMGnbISpjhW0sk2DK-V6-JW_RyAUp9U9mDTPdfmczFXyC5hdAihtP2_CUDAOsvrQIK9IisP3XBgbpi8zJsdNiWFnFvqj8d0r_1jG4tq1IV3e3R74EH7kAsUyWAD4iO2w5Yw1cTL5FF_lN_UuJLjAT9Z4Ta7OKC_9FA023TGgeOTMONR/w590-h640/final(67).JPG" title="Stampin' Up!, Beautiful Balloons Scrapbooking" width="590" /></a></div>Then the other side of the spread is this one, I've tried to connect up the streamers so it works across the 2 pages.<p></p><p> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3lsXv05uEUQ667KBv8gc9Q4GgC91rEM6RVDoEtBkzmcELss4hNQYqkWvU7dXsb13ztKlvfdB0qm9GbQHN6E5CWgdfp4utXe9nnaTI44q3CPG43chX0UDtag2zm8djTAzojL0xFM8em2EE-Tme8tMIp_5l587QdofEdnhF_K1rYDx15gXckUA4tAb_/s3027/final(68).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Stampin' Up!, Beautiful Balloons Scrapbooking" border="0" data-original-height="3027" data-original-width="3024" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3lsXv05uEUQ667KBv8gc9Q4GgC91rEM6RVDoEtBkzmcELss4hNQYqkWvU7dXsb13ztKlvfdB0qm9GbQHN6E5CWgdfp4utXe9nnaTI44q3CPG43chX0UDtag2zm8djTAzojL0xFM8em2EE-Tme8tMIp_5l587QdofEdnhF_K1rYDx15gXckUA4tAb_/w640-h640/final(68).JPG" title="Stampin' Up!, Beautiful Balloons Scrapbooking" width="640" /></a><br /></p><p></p><p>They are fairly basic, although I'm quite chuffed with my use of the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/decorative-circle-punch?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Decorative Circle punch </a>to create an interest in the corners of the photo on the blue page.</p><p>I tend to think the whole purpose of scrapbooking is to preserve the memories in photo form, and these will also have cards in the gaps, that those involved in the carol service are writing on, so I'm not really big on lots of embellishments, although we'll see how the other pages come out if I get more adventurous!</p><p>Anyway if you missed the video here it is:</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/gW7LLELScOA" width="320" youtube-src-id="gW7LLELScOA"></iframe></div><br /> I hope I've inspired you to dig out some of your photos, and have a go at scrapbooking too!<p></p><p>God Bless love<br />Heather xox</p>BeingCreateAble with Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03126205692753470041noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8124755765864900813.post-46587307540874238622024-01-20T11:00:00.001+12:002024-01-20T11:00:00.137+12:00Something Saturday - Half'er cards using Trusty Toolbox<p><span style="font-size: medium;"> Hi There Creators,</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">No not half a card🤣 Today I'm showing off the fabulous <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/trusty-tools-bundle-english?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Trusty Tools Bundle,</a> which just so happens to have matching Sale-a-Bration papers that go with it. Sale-a-Bration (SAB) is on until the end of Feb, for every $90 you purchase you get to pick for free from the SAB catalogue (check out the whole offering here: <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/categories/specials/sale-a-bration?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Sale-a-Bration items</a>. Happy New Year to you too.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Today I thought we'd check out something that will be available to purchase on 4th January - 5 Days time EEK! hopefully you all have your catalogues by now, if not let me know!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">What we're checking out today is the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid which is an embossing folder with dies, and it is SOOOO cool!, you can cut and emboss all at the same time. I find the easiest way to score is using the amazing <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/simply-scored-scoring-tool?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Simply Scored Scoring Tool</a>, if you don't have one, check it out!<br /></span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">You'll also need one other piece to act as the tree trunk, this needs to be around 3/4 wide, then 1 1/2" long, and scored at 1/4" / 3/4" / 1 1/4" and again concertina'd (the 2 little 1/4" flaps are the ones that adhere to the card.)</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Add the tree trunk to the middle of your card first (around 1/4" away from the centre fold). Then add the concertina'd strips in (glue on both side flaps of the strip, then pop it in butted up against the centrefold and hold the card shut for a moment till the glue sticks.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">If that doesn't make sense, here's the video!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"> </span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/bERqCGfjPuM" width="320" youtube-src-id="bERqCGfjPuM"></iframe></span></div><span style="font-size: medium;"> </span><p></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">I hope this inspires you to create.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">God Bless love</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Heather xox<br /></span></p>BeingCreateAble with Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03126205692753470041noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8124755765864900813.post-972691057362177242023-12-09T11:00:00.003+12:002023-12-09T11:00:00.139+12:00Something Saturday - Fancy Fold Tube Card<p> <span style="font-size: medium;">Hi there Creators,</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Today I'm "caseing" a card from one of my downline. LeeAllan sent me this card, isn't it great?<br /></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxw4HHHkhHjh2Okf0B_YNH-KtAitfK1c-B5Mb1ZLgQTXTftBNueFoF6JBZozO6oDZmyZm74inetmAJR4MdGRDzZ-9sgAtwnFSsn8H3p4k61oG9v4KBhw5rOdu3LJJDIjvYIhQx69dWBI4kwKbnclkg42F9dII92dEn6mDLRvxbTOhMwzfZiuNp6Vox/s3535/final(47).JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="fancy fold card, Stampin' Up!" border="0" data-original-height="3535" data-original-width="2797" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxw4HHHkhHjh2Okf0B_YNH-KtAitfK1c-B5Mb1ZLgQTXTftBNueFoF6JBZozO6oDZmyZm74inetmAJR4MdGRDzZ-9sgAtwnFSsn8H3p4k61oG9v4KBhw5rOdu3LJJDIjvYIhQx69dWBI4kwKbnclkg42F9dII92dEn6mDLRvxbTOhMwzfZiuNp6Vox/w506-h640/final(47).JPG" title="fancy fold card, Stampin' Up!" width="506" /></a></span></div><p><span style="font-size: medium;">So, the card she sent me was made not with A4 cardstock in mind (and I'm an A4 girl!) so I had to change the measurements a bit, then I couldn't keep the same design and added a bar at the top, so I could dangle a Christmas ornament, so Da Daaaa....... For this card I used a saying from <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/brightest-glow-cling-stamp-set-english?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Brightest Glow</a>, The <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/tartan-foil-12-x-12-30-5-x-30-5-cm-specialty-designer-series-paper?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Tartan Foil Specialty Designer Paper</a>, <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/more-dazzle-6-x-6-15-2-x-15-2-cm-specialty-paper?dbwsdemoid=4001738">More Dazzle Designer Paper,</a> and the star of the show <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/handcrafted-elements-dies?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Handcrafted Elements Dies</a>.<br /></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrigBCogXjXXNMVdIi0Rynh_oKXSGzkBHGWbX1b3X7DabUE7K8mu1btCuvxnXdcMN_fN0NnFH0AMeTakKHsyWzACG5pVYa49h-aXK7ikQqpHz6lm_gU33q2V391SsW0qmpsUNWWLmS3uTz1pr8WMm2zeFYKPXZCT_RbiDmzI3uy4Y_hVCEJ8OFN2ZQ/s3575/final(46).JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Fancy Fold Card, Stampin' Up!" border="0" data-original-height="3575" data-original-width="2500" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrigBCogXjXXNMVdIi0Rynh_oKXSGzkBHGWbX1b3X7DabUE7K8mu1btCuvxnXdcMN_fN0NnFH0AMeTakKHsyWzACG5pVYa49h-aXK7ikQqpHz6lm_gU33q2V391SsW0qmpsUNWWLmS3uTz1pr8WMm2zeFYKPXZCT_RbiDmzI3uy4Y_hVCEJ8OFN2ZQ/w448-h640/final(46).JPG" title="fancy fold card, Stampin' Up!" width="448" /></a></span></div><p><span style="font-size: medium;">During the video I make this next card, I've put the bar onto the bottom with this card, really the bar could go at any height!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"> This one uses the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/oxidized-copper-12-x-12-30-5-x-30-5-cm-specialty-designer-series-paper?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Oxidized Copper Specialty Designer Series paper,</a> Oh my goodness it's gorgeous! The<a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/circle-sayings-photopolymer-stamp-set-english?dbwsdemoid=4001738"> Circle Sayings Stamp set</a>, and <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/search/stampin%20write%20markers?sort=relevance&ts=1700476348279?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Stampin' Write Markers</a><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWw3HIHNrdrjYzFWT68Gasa_eEhOBEF7ccenKU2SJCL1uwejN1D04H0ozvkYU2LjItzT5E6M8cpdDT5f7lUBlB6V7iCbsf9GHlb8RoBjzxuyTios_oyvJNpH_qRSMLYq9rVNgqDNArCJvrexB_RwrvHTP8Q5RMp56xK9VXYl_clbxdkAH8FaeQpq0i/s4032/final(41).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Meandering Meadows DSP, Stampin' Up!" border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWw3HIHNrdrjYzFWT68Gasa_eEhOBEF7ccenKU2SJCL1uwejN1D04H0ozvkYU2LjItzT5E6M8cpdDT5f7lUBlB6V7iCbsf9GHlb8RoBjzxuyTios_oyvJNpH_qRSMLYq9rVNgqDNArCJvrexB_RwrvHTP8Q5RMp56xK9VXYl_clbxdkAH8FaeQpq0i/w480-h640/final(41).JPG" title="Meandering Meadows DSP, Stampin' Up!" width="480" /></a></div>Then these are the ones I make in the video: Oh I forgot to say that I used the<a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/adhesive-sheets?dbwsdemoid=4001738"> Adhesive sheets</a> for the card that uses the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/gilded-leafing?dbwsdemoid=4001738">gilded leafing</a>.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEim-TiV1rxnda9C61nelf552zQYgE8tQCK16yMEuaIVk4N_Ll6w0DIg_8J6IAKMJ74vh3Yilj_pLrc2sDt623qdvB-aXtUrmplFQAaNkNcMIPdsFWQQ2x-fSGvxJ8Fq-GJ_QC4whkaVwq-foFBUElsiB7ScprCKldx8IT8vNDwMw2xid_FyuNhaH3-Y/s4032/final(40).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Meandering Meadows DSP, Stampin' Up!" border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEim-TiV1rxnda9C61nelf552zQYgE8tQCK16yMEuaIVk4N_Ll6w0DIg_8J6IAKMJ74vh3Yilj_pLrc2sDt623qdvB-aXtUrmplFQAaNkNcMIPdsFWQQ2x-fSGvxJ8Fq-GJ_QC4whkaVwq-foFBUElsiB7ScprCKldx8IT8vNDwMw2xid_FyuNhaH3-Y/w480-h640/final(40).JPG" title="Meandering Meadows DSP, Stampin' Up!" width="480" /></a></div><p>I did use the Stampin' Write Markers, thick ends to colour in the stamps and stamp them, I love the way you get a slightly mottled looking image using them (and the fact that they're such a versatile colouring medium)! Did you know you can actually pick out certain words/images in the stamp to stamp separately with them, or potentially colour your words/images in many different colours like a rainbow effect?</p><p>Anyway I promised to share the card size with you, </p><p>Cut your A4 in 1/2 to make 2 A5 sized pieces, then score down the middle at 7.4cm, and cut into 7cm cards, Voila 3 mini cards out of each A5 sized card. 😁</p><p>Then the Designer Paper is cut to 3" squares, then I've cut 5mm off both sides and 5mm off the top or bottom (not both). I'm upping the ante and going with Designer Paper, rather than toilet roll🤣</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Anyway photos are always way more exciting than me waffling on (and they do say a picture says a thousand words)</span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4OMuCylnBFsHwDPMUe3lKWBQR4ZIRzLpQyj3NQmU1mLz4wtSS0dQtaiGSmctZPEdUJDuItQqEDud-8xAtoPPrSQkbnYmXZNoLM_qN9258MlHApIQfAxKqR-xC8Zax1wuY25k801zz9S6_7NR09hqJYIhgsDpNnwhhzU0J2gR-p7VwN1jqliN0Nmxb/s4032/IMG_2767.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Christmas Bauble, Stampin' Up!" border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4OMuCylnBFsHwDPMUe3lKWBQR4ZIRzLpQyj3NQmU1mLz4wtSS0dQtaiGSmctZPEdUJDuItQqEDud-8xAtoPPrSQkbnYmXZNoLM_qN9258MlHApIQfAxKqR-xC8Zax1wuY25k801zz9S6_7NR09hqJYIhgsDpNnwhhzU0J2gR-p7VwN1jqliN0Nmxb/w480-h640/IMG_2767.jpg" title="Christmas Bauble, Stampin' Up!" width="480" /></a></span></div><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnRoQ_2YEAfr4Nga4g58Yd431bNJer9oDA76f6SDZ9OunQljN8ouQGJ4eB85DOPq49RxsbzSUUcEQfbSn4r2v7_S9cG8qsmIMqkHsDtquVrQS_ju5eWqgUfYFo7Rq6JmEwVI8FBhnf19RSPxQZ9KJwXuerCtoOQyb-sf6NiWfuB6gA9Qwv7i-h5EpS/s4032/IMG_2769.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Christmas Bauble, Stampin' Up!" border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnRoQ_2YEAfr4Nga4g58Yd431bNJer9oDA76f6SDZ9OunQljN8ouQGJ4eB85DOPq49RxsbzSUUcEQfbSn4r2v7_S9cG8qsmIMqkHsDtquVrQS_ju5eWqgUfYFo7Rq6JmEwVI8FBhnf19RSPxQZ9KJwXuerCtoOQyb-sf6NiWfuB6gA9Qwv7i-h5EpS/w480-h640/IMG_2769.jpg" title="Christmas Bauble, Stampin' Up!" width="480" /></a></span></div><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /> Oh wow 2000 words already done!🤣<br /></span><p></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">The first one I made with retired cardstock, just to try it out, I'm pretty sure in her video she used 13cm x 1cm strips, but I didn't see the harm in using 14.8cm x 1cm (as then it's 1/2 A4 length) however turns out you need more strips if you make it larger! ha, who knew? anyway I still like the look and you get 8 petals instead of 6, so the one I show in the video I made up using the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/bright-beautiful-12-x-12-30-5-x-30-5-cm-designer-series-paper?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper</a>, I scaled it down to the 13cm long, and end up with 6 petal shapes. Then attach both halves together (again see the video), and.......<br /></span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">2 are for the band around the middle and the last one is for the little hanging thingo at the top.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Right, so, clear as mud? if you missed the video here it is;</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/d6XM-Iqgt0E" width="320" youtube-src-id="d6XM-Iqgt0E"></iframe></span></div><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span><p><span style="font-size: medium;">I hope this inspires you to create, let me know if you have a go!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">God Bless love</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Heather xox</span><br /></p>BeingCreateAble with Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03126205692753470041noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8124755765864900813.post-14984373894211434702023-11-21T15:01:00.000+12:002023-11-21T15:01:02.388+12:00Cards for December Classes<p><span style="font-size: medium;"> Hi there Creators</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Wow we're at the end of the year again! my goodness that has come round fast! Last card class for the year, of course focusing on Christmas cards. Card class dates are: Maryborough: Saturday 2nd at 10.30am, then Wednesday 6th 10.30am and Thursday 7th at 7pm in my classroom in Laanecoorie. Class cost is $24 for 4 cards - if you're coming please do let me know, and let's have a Christmas Celebration! NB: the Maryborough class date is different to the one I originally had advertised as our Carol service at church is the following weekend and we have a rehearsal all day Saturday!<br /></span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Onto the cards:</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">I had to use the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/light-the-sky-bundle-english?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Light the Sky bundle</a> again, it's really one of my favourites! I've also discovered the absolutely gorgeous <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/rose-gold-12-x-12-30-5-x-30-5-cm-specialty-paper?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Rose Gold Specialty Paper</a>, ummmm</span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3665xOc86ttcEqBgX-fbw7QQLfmy3DN-K9AGE4VhYY-yozEpCBkXKqFNOxAfaIY7N3zeMMgAEE4hv_QtdZcVz0LheTiLa9ltozh6E1EIOCg1tBliZd7Z6qm5YEw0XuwpsDmoDEpsQyYcdBjSArcc9chNS_S2r9yJqHlPVxFVsMn8NCictk6VGMQcb/s4032/final(43).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Light the Sky, Stampin' Up!" border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3665xOc86ttcEqBgX-fbw7QQLfmy3DN-K9AGE4VhYY-yozEpCBkXKqFNOxAfaIY7N3zeMMgAEE4hv_QtdZcVz0LheTiLa9ltozh6E1EIOCg1tBliZd7Z6qm5YEw0XuwpsDmoDEpsQyYcdBjSArcc9chNS_S2r9yJqHlPVxFVsMn8NCictk6VGMQcb/w480-h640/final(43).JPG" title="Light the Sky, Stampin' Up!" width="480" /></a></div>This next card I thought was kind of fun! Using the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/modern-oval-punch?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Modern Oval punch</a> to create the little bags, and the <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/merry-bold-bright-12-x-12-30-5-x-30-5-cm-designer-series-paper?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Merry Bold & Bright Designer paper</a>, I felt it went well with the nice bold saying from <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/joy-to-you-cling-stamp-set-english?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Joy to You stamp set</a>.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-uVwtPruO5EZosweYXqUim3MEN2RJw3alkh2T1-qXEFUUbcgmi3GYy1WC2PSS-DYARestyvIULdecJi0uP2LX8DNtainEEb5txNgPvTMlO3AjNdg4fFPtaaDnH9RS2U5Ag31aWQLPb4cHBjCokZf8wPyB2ntO3hpYAamgbIc7ZOxNr6WWa3OyXAQ8/s4032/final(42).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Joy to You, Stampin' Up!" border="0" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="4032" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-uVwtPruO5EZosweYXqUim3MEN2RJw3alkh2T1-qXEFUUbcgmi3GYy1WC2PSS-DYARestyvIULdecJi0uP2LX8DNtainEEb5txNgPvTMlO3AjNdg4fFPtaaDnH9RS2U5Ag31aWQLPb4cHBjCokZf8wPyB2ntO3hpYAamgbIc7ZOxNr6WWa3OyXAQ8/w640-h480/final(42).JPG" title="Joy to You, Stampin' Up!" width="640" /></a></div>Then moving onto the next card, again some gorgeous cardstock <a href="https://www.stampinup.com.au/products/joy-of-christmas-12-x-12-30-5-x-30-5-cm-designer-series-paper?dbwsdemoid=4001738">Joy of Christmas Designer Series papers</a> (seems to be a recurring theme here!)
